The suggested routes
Forest Path (Entrance Square)
Starting from the Tram Stop at the Entrance Square to the Medicinal Plants Garden, the Forest Path (Entrance Square) is recommended for those who are bored waiting for the tram.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Baekdudaegan Arboretum while walking along the red clay road.
Meditation Forest Path
If you walk along the arrow next to the dry stream at the Medicinal Plants Garden, you can see the "Meditation Forest" full of the scent of Korean pine. It is the most beloved forest road for visitors to the National Baekdudaegan Arboretum from the rainy season, to the hot summer with blazing sun, to the cold wind blowing in the winter.
In the pools of water throughout the Meditation Forest, you can feel the living forest where salamanders and frogs live, and in the dense Korean pine forest, various mountain birds fly, and squirrels run around.
Nutpine Forest Path
The Nutpine Forest Path is the most appropriate course when you want to look around the forest in a short time.
You can relax on the terrace at the entrance of the forest trail and observe various creatures such as frogs living in the dry stream. Also, you can encounter aquatic plants that bloom into colorful flowers such as blood iris, field touch-me-not, and marsh marigold.
Forest Path (Alpine Wetland Garden)
It is a forest road that departs from the Stonecrop Family Collection and heads for the tiger forest. It is a place where you can feel cool and refreshed with the forest path created a little higher than the surrounding area.
If you walk along this forest road, you will find a secret garden planted with various plants and an alpine wetland garden where various creatures such as amphibians, aquatic insects, and mountain birds live together.
Forest Trail (Stonecrop Family Collection)
Passing through the Stonecrop Family Collection and entering the forest, you will find a long forest road leading to the Alpine Wetland Garden. Get rid of your worries at the dawn redwood shelter in the middle of the forest road and enjoy healing time with the surrounding short-fruit rosebay. As it is a secret forest road that goes deep into the forest, please understand that the trail is relatively rough and cell phone communication can be lost. Please wear appropriate clothing for walking and pay attention to safety when using this forest road.
Hydrangea Forest Path
This is the last forest path to the Tiger Forest.
If you cross a small stream and enter the forest path, you will find a welcoming forest where you can avoid the hot summer sunlight and the cold winter winds. As you walk down the fluffy forest road step by step, the Baekdu Mountain tiger is waiting for you.
